Observing nature through:
Mindful Photography
I connect to nature through photography, and I connect to myself through nature.
Coming soon - A workshop to encourage you to slow down, practise mindfulness and improve photography techniques.
I've been practising mindful photography, (a total opposite from my usual fast pace e-commerce photography) for a few years after experiencing a personal struggle which left me with quite severe anxiety. It has helped me immensely - to be immersed in, observe and capture the dappled sunlight, contrasting colours and gentle sounds while being totally present. A distraction for a short while from the noise in my mind and body. I find it reduces my symptoms and leaves me with a sense of renewal to face the busy pace of life again.
So if you are curious, come and learn photography and mindfulness as you wander through nature, capturing its quiet details and absorbing its healing properties.
"Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree" - Henry David Thoreau

Post workshop resourses: reading material, ted talks, you tube videos
CPD certificate in the psycology of trauma and emotions.
When I'm surrounded by and engaging with nature I feel more connected to my authentic self and the world, the camera becomes a pause button, reminding me to observe, not just look.
So I invite you to join me to slow down, breathe and capture the beauty of rustling leaves, play with light and be present, while learning new skills in photography and mindfulness which you can apply to your own practice.
